The 3D Printed Sovereign Armor

Blog post #1: The Making of the Medieval-inspired 3D printed women’s Sovereign Armor
Blog post #2: The Sovereign Armor & Marisha Ray photoshoot

The Sovereign Armor made in honor of the creatives out there who know how both incredibly empowering and lonely it is to be the ruler of your dreams and creations. See the video here.

The intricate patterns are meant to look like rolling waves while the fluting is meant to look like ripples. I wanted the glowing LEDs to give the impression of magical and ethereal energy and symbolize the light of the creative.

And the light of the creative is a beautiful and painful thing. Beautiful because it’s what inspires you to create. Painful because it’s always at risk of being snuffed out.
