First, a quick reminder that the made to order holiday deadline has already passed and today is the last day for ready to ship holiday orders.

But before I share those, I want to thank everyone who responded to my offer to mail real holiday cards this year. I was blown away by the enthusiasm, but I had to close the form early since the response was bigger than I expected.

My apologies to anyone who didn't get one, but I promise there will be more surprises in the future! For those receiving a holiday card, Fiona and I just started learning calligraphy, so you'll also get to witness our early, awkward (but heartfelt) attempts at lettering.
I won't lie...the idea of hand writing each card with our beginner calligraphy skills is a little daunting. But we both thought, "Well, we gotta start somewhere," right? And seeing this as a chance to grow instead of waiting for perfection reminded me that this mindset hasn't always been natural for us.
Looking back, I realized Lumecluster has been made up of a long series of firsts, experiments, failures, and calculated risks I took before I ever felt ready (shared on my Adventure blog).
Before I knew it, 13 years went by and I found myself standing on a foundation of building blocks made up of all the years of learning, trying, failing, and starting over again. Here I am now, daring to call myself an artist...and now a jewelry designer.
And you know what? I'm still constantly searching for answers, figuring things out, and full of uncertainty. But here's a key thing I learned that has kept me grounded:
The perfect day to start is the day you decide to give yourself a chance.
And every day that you imperfectly begin something brings you closer to discovering new facets of yourself you never knew were there. Don't you want to meet them?
So, in honor of National Letter Writing Day, I'm here to say that you already have it in you to just get started on that thing you've been overthinking. The Dreamer Creed is also here to help fight that analysis paralysis.
