Last week, we added jewelry layers inspired by books and libraries for those who love to armor themselves with knowledge. This week, we add the third layer for our November 8th release. Today is Myths and Legends Day, so I'd love to ask:
What myth or legend did you grow up on that shaped the values you carry today?
I was always drawn to the underdogs and flawed heroes, the Robin Hoods and the Monkey Kings of the world. They spoke to me because, as imperfect as they were, they still chose to stand for something. They stood beside the vulnerable, spoke up when it would have been easier not to, and were kind even when no one was looking.
That idea influenced me as an artist since childhood when I scribbled drawings of mythical creatures, wizards, and knights. Over the years, as Lumecluster has grown and evolved, I've learned that I wasn't the only one who grew up with these heroic daydreams.
It's no surprise that the Good Knight Chainmail Ring has become one of our most beloved pieces.
So, I wanted to give it more ways to travel with you, along with a new scale armor to complement it. These new talismans are also an extension of the new metal gauntlet that's still in the works and the successor to the Phoenix Gauntlets that got me started on this journey.
And as the season gets colder and days get rougher, protecting yourself matters even more. As much as you strive to be there for those who count on you, being the person others lean on can be heavy. Sometimes, you need a steady shield of your own.
The Good Knight Shield Pendant merges a heart and a smaller shield inside auspicious ribbons bringing together compassion and protection. Like the ring, it holds the belief that heroism isn't about being invincible. It's an everyday choice to face the world with courage, integrity, and kindness.
The Noble Heart Shield Pendant takes inspiration from an Augsburg armor garniture shield. A ring of hearts radiates around a single heart like scale armor as a reminder that a loving heart can be its own armor against apathy.
With chainmail for the honorable knight in you and scales of overlapping hearts to protect the noble heart that guides you, these new rings, huggies, bracelets, studs, and necklaces were created to keep you grounded.
Talismans may not be able to fix the injustices in the world, but they can remind you who you choose to be even on the toughest days. So, keep fighting the good fight.
